Melanie Devaney is a folk-Americana singer-
Being a woman and singing songs about women is important to Melanie in an industry that is often male-dominated. She believes that every woman has a unique story to share with the world and, as much as possible, she tries to collect these stories and give them to the world as songs. Her songs celebrate women's courage, fortitude and their unique ability to nurture the culture to higher levels of understanding and acceptance.
- Melanie's second album "Single Subject Notebook"charted on three college stations in the U.S. in early 2014 and also received heavy rotation on over seventy stations.
- Her previous festivals include the Kimball Arts Festival (Park City, Utah); the Julian Music Festival (Julian, California), the Nowoodstock Music Festival (Ten Sleep, Wyoming) and the Red Gorilla Music Festival (Austin, TX).
